Seattle Restaurants
This page is dedicated to informing the public about restaurants in the Seattle area, and their features. I am most interested in whether they have a gluten free menu and other paleo-friendly options.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have an update or addition for a particular restaurant.

Local Gluten Free Menus: These restaurants have a special gluten free menu. This doesn’t necessarily mean they are paleo friendly but 9/10 times you can find something good. If they are especially good, I will duel list in the section below.
- Duke’s Chowder House
- Romio’s Pizza & Pasta
- Tango
- Ten Mercer
- Portage Bay Cafe
National Gluten Free Menus:
- Outback Steakhouse
Local Paleo Friendly (Casual) (Allergen status unconfirmed. This is mainly a list of restaurants where you can meat + veggies without any obvious offenders.)
- Amante’s Pizza & Pasta: They offer HUGE paleo friendly salads and are very easy about substituting. They also have a special “low carb” menu with large portions of baked meat and vegetables covered in cheese.
Low Carb Menu Salad Menu - Romio’s Pizza & Pasta: A large selection of “no dough” pizzas and “no pasta” pasta dishes, again basically meat, vegetables, and cheese if you want it. Also dairy free options.
Low Carb Menu - Duke’s Chowder House: Very big salads, fish, and meat options.
- Gordito’s Healthy Mexican: Low carb option to remove tortilla, beans, and rice and add in more meat, vegetables, and guacamole
- Protein Planet: The name says it all…various options. Not very tasty but a solid quick lunch takeout option.
- Greenlake/ Eastlake/ Lake Forest / Crossroads Bar & Grill: All locations have the same menu. Salmon with a side of carrots and broccoli. Sub the mashed potatoes for excellent sweet potato fries or double veggies. Menu
- Sonrisa Modern Mexican: Fajitas – shrimp, chicken, or steak, sautéed with onions and peppers. Served with pico de gallo, guacamole and salad.
- Portage Bay Cafe: Awesome brunch selection
- La Cocina & Cantina: All you can eat Mexican buffet. Many, many options.

- Table 219: Steak, bacon deviled eggs, and more
Local Paleo Friendly (Fine-Dining) (Allergen status unconfirmed. This is mainly a list of restaurants where you can meat + veggies without any obvious offenders.)
- Ipanema Brazilian Grill: “Rodizio” means you pay a fixed price and get 9-19 (lunch vs dinner) different cuts of meat that have been slow roasted over charcoal grills. They slice a bit off on your plate, and it keeps coming. You go until you are satisfied.
- Novilhos: Same idea as Ipanema. Little bit more expensive. Little bit tastier.
- Bistro Turkuaz: Various meat options
- Ray’s Boathouse: Excellent seafood options
- Buenos Aires Grill: Expensive steakhouse
- La Bête: This place even serves homemade pork rinds!
- Lola: Had awesome leg of lamb
National Paleo Friendly (Allergen status unconfirmed. This is mainly a list of restaurants where you can meat + veggies without any obvious offenders.)
- Red Robin: Offers an option to wrap burger in lettuce instead of bun. It is very tasty.
- Chipotles: Can customize your own bowl with lettuce, fajita vegetables, meat, guacamole, etc. Serves only naturally raised pasture fed meat in most locations.
- Qdoba: Can customize your own bowl with lettuce, fajita vegetables, meat, guacamole, etc. Quality lower than Chipotle’s.
- California Pizza Kitchen: Some entrees have a choice to either serve with stir-fried vegetables instead of pasta
- Whole Foods Market: Lots of different options at very low prices compared to restaurant dining
- The Counter: Build your own burger on a bed of mixed greens or lettuce.
- The Ram: Various different steaks / burger / salad options.
- The Cheesecake Factory: HUGE menu, many options
- Il Fornaio Cafe: Meat and vegetable options.
